STRIVE Apprenticeship (Skills Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement)

STRIVE is a flagship Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship program aimed at improving the relevance and quality of vocational training. Through its partnership, COWE connects women entrepreneurs with skilled apprentices and promotes upskilling among small business owners and their staff. The program enhances employability by ensuring that vocational skills are aligned with real-world industrial requirements. Women-owned enterprises benefit by gaining trained manpower, while apprentices, especially young women, receive stipends and valuable hands-on experience.
COWE also facilitates industry-institute linkages under STRIVE to foster innovation and tech-driven learning. This initiative addresses skill mismatches and prepares businesses for modern, competitive markets. STRIVE’s apprenticeship model contributes significantly to women’s economic empowerment by offering structured learning, employment pathways, and entrepreneurial mentorship.
