A free Day care centre for underprivileged children from economically backward families. An initiative from COWE to serve the Society in a small way…
1. This project has three fold benefits:
- A safe and secured atmosphere for the poor kids without any emotional set backs.
- A great help to the working lady workers who can work without worrying about their kids.. and give them a financial independence to support their families.
- Every day care employs 3 women to take care of 25-27 kids.. So effectively gives employment to those 27 mothers too and three ladies employed by Day care Centres. So creates job opportunities and leads to woman empowerment.
2. Financial support:
- The day care are set up by CSR funding from corporates
- Operating costs are by SIDBI for initial 2 years.
- Space given free by Industrial Association and IALA.
