Namitha Banka -

Ms. Namitha Banka is an environmentalist who had turned her passion into an entrepreneurship journey.  Her company converts shit into reusable water and gas and develops solutions around sanitation.

Ms. Namitha credits COWE for the growth of her company as their “one advice” helped her overcome the financial barrier that would have otherwise limited her from bidding for large-scale government contracts.  They advised me to register with NSIC as a small scale industry and that helped me to overcome the requirement of providing Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) while bidding for Railways Contracts.

Aluri Lalitha -

Ms. Aluri Lalitha has attended the EDP programme organized by COWE in JNTU in 2005, then seeds of expansion of her printing press sown in her mind.She has great passion for technology visited many countries and participated in printing exhibitions at Germany, London, China, USA and Spain etc. 

She joined Balaji Scan to help her husband, at that time when bankers wanted to declare the company as NPA Unit.  She persuaded the bank to give some time.  She had analysed that the company is using outdated technology which is a major hurdle and hampering the growth of the unit.  She took steps to transform Balaji Scan - the Analog to Digital Mode and now it is an offset pre-press processing unit which caters to all the printing press and reputed advertising agencies.

Associating with COWE helped Lalitha realize her mother’s belief that educating a girl child is like educating the whole family which she is taking forward.    She joined COWE in 2005 and served various posts and now she is the President of COWE-Telangana Chapter.  During her tenure as President of COWE, 123 new members joined and she had set her sight on empowering women farmers to address suicide among farmers by setting up Rural Business Centre and Clusters Development.

Dr. Vijaya Sharada Reddy -

An honorary Doctorate holder from The International Peace University and its first Indian Woman to make it to the Guinness records twice.  Dr. Reddy is a soft skills trainer that many youngsters look upto.

She married Sri Aramanda Vara Prasad Reddy, Founder Chairman of the Holy Mary Group of Institutions, Hyderabad and Nalanda Group of Institutions, Guntur.  Two like-minded individuals who focused on mutually strengthening institutions beyond leaps and bounds.

She ventured into entrepreneurship by becoming the National Vice Chairman for the Federation of Small Medium and Micro Enterprises (FSME)

Tumma Aruna - Entrepreneur

 Aruna is a successful entrepreneur, who is into the travel industry.  She takes pride in her time management skills, discipline and proactive nature that she imbibed from her father, who is a veteran.

Initially she joined her husband’s business Veba Venkateshwara Travesls which is now giving Corporate Services PAN India to over 100 companies from various sectors such as Pharma, IT, Banks, Insurance Companies, Construction Sectors, Educational Institutes, Stock Exchange Companies,  BSE Logistics, Lifesciences and many more.

Later on she started her own sister branch of the travel business, under the brand name ‘Hary Cabs’

She joined COWE in 2015 and has been an active member even since and now she is an EC member taking care of ISO NABARD Certification Process in COWE.

Keerthi Chekoti - Agripreneur

Keerthi Chekoti, an agripreneur, grows organic Noni – a fruit with medicinal properties.  She is also a serial entrepreneur who is into retail sales and food processing. 

Keerthi was living in Nigeria with her husband when she started her first venture.  They had Tomato Paste and Custard Powder Processing Plant in Nigeria with brand Gypsy they sold it before locating back to India.

She started organic farming growing Noni fruit, seasonal crops such as pulses, four types of rice, Whole Spices and fresh vegetables.
