GITEX-2007
GITEX IndiaSoft 2007(in
collaboration with Dubai World Trade Center and IndiaSoft) is
a premier exhibition focused on Information and Communication
Technology, that brings large participation from international
and domestic companies and users, both companies and
individuals. GITEX is to be conducted during 9th to 11th
January 2007 at HITEX center, NAC grounds, Hyderabad and is
estimated to have a participation of more than 300 exhibitors
and 3,00,000 visitors. GITEX IndiaSoft 2007 is to be
inaugurated by Shri Dayanidhi Maran, Hon'ble Minister,
Communications & IT, Govt. of India on 8th Jan 2007.
On the occasion of this prestigious event, Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) has conducted a seminar under the aegis of IT&C department, in parallel to sessions being conducted by NASSCOM, HYSEA, & CII. COWE is a non-profit business organization working towards promoting participation and development of women in various social and economic sectors through entrepreneurial development training and exposing them to various business and developmental opportunities aiming to make a perceptible difference in the cause of women and to lay a path for their economic and social independence through development of entrepreneurship facilities for them, especially in the sector of ICT.
