TWO YEARS...
Annual General Body Meeting(AGM)
held on 26th Sept, 2006. New office bearers elected.
SBH donated 30 computers to COWE
to facilitate incubators.
Collaboration with ZDH of
Germany, to promote entrepreneurship and for converting
business to good economy.
“ Organizational Structure &
Fund Raising” workshop organized by ZDH, included COWE’s
participation.
“How to Export to EU”, a
two day workshop organized by COWE in collaboration with ZDH
on 28th and 29th of September.
COWE’s incubator facilities have
been utilized by three of our members. COWE adopted Dharmavaram weavers and funded five
of them.
Annual Day Celebrations held
after the seminar at HITEX – Musical evening followed by
Dinner for COWE members.
GITEX 2006 – a landmark seminar
with CII and NASSCOM. Hon.Minister of Sugar, Trade and Major
Industries, Ms.Geeta Reddy, Hon.Minister of IT, Ms.Sabita
Reddy, Ms.Ratna Prabha, Secretary IT were the Chief Invitees
and Guests.
EDP at COWE office on “Food
Processing” had 25 participants. PMRY training Programmes have
been executed in the rural areas. Quite a number of
participants have availed this opportunity.
EDP at COWE office held with SBH
extending their financial and moral support. 29 participants
benefited through this programme.
Entrepreneurial Development
Programmes(EDP) conducted so far with the initiatives of COWE
– EDP programme at JNTU with the support of their entrepreneur
development cell, trained 60 women. Ms.Mahalakshmi
Co_ordinated the whole programme.
Two of our members, Ms.Geeta
Reddy and Ms.Madhuri Talluri underwent Trainers’ training
programme at JNTU. On the Inaugural day, Ms. Suman Kumar spoke
about COWE’s initiatives.
BYST Convention held at
Hyderabad in Satya Sai Nigamagamam on 8th
April, 2005 Introduced COWE by Ms.Uma Gurkha &
Ms.Suman Kumar presenting papers on, “Role of NGO’s in rural
sector” & “Fostering entrepreneurship among rural youth of
AP.
Ms.Vanita Datla presented a
paper on , 2005.Marketing Dilemma’s
putting COWE on to the National Platform.(16-17th March)
Four of COWE’s core members –
Ms. Shylaja Reddy, Ms. Soudamini, Ms. Sandhya Reddy, Ms. Suman
Kumar attended the same along with our member, Ms.Vanita
Datla.
National Commission for Women,
New Delhi, invited our participation in their conference
commemorating International Women’s Day towards end of March
2005.
Celebrated International Women’s
Day on 8th March 2005 at FAPCCI by Felicititating our mothers
and organized a Panel Discussion. Panelists – Ms.Subba Rao,
Ms.Ananda Shankar, Suchitra Ella and Nalini Gangadharan.
