The first Annual General body Meeting(AGM) was held on 26th Sept, 2006 at FAPCCI, Hyderabad.

Balance Sheet approved and New committee announced by Sandhya Reddy

Balance sheet and profit & loss account was circulated well in advance to all the members and it has been approved in the AGM. It was proposed by Malati and seconded  by Swarna Bala.

In Accordance with the articles and also subsequent  guidelines, COWE  has the following structure: Advisory board, Managing committee and Executive Committee.

Managing Committee consists of Ex-Presidents and current office bearers.

Election for office bearer: As per the articles, elections are held once in two years and President will retire and subseequently, Senior Vice President will take over as President, Vice President as Senior Vice President, Secretary as Vice President, Joint Secretary/Treasurer as secretary

This year we had election for Joint Secretary and Treasurer from the existing executive committee . Meena Gupta and Madhuri Talluri have been unanimously elected as Jt, Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

Managing Committee for the year 2006-2008:

Shylaja Reddy – President (2004-2006)
Suman Kumar – President
Uma Ghurka – Senior Vice President
Sandhya Reddy – Vice President
Soudamini – Secretary
Meena Gupta – Joint Secretary
Madhuri Talluri - Treasurer

Executive Committee:

Maximum of 20 members including six office bearers and are elected from members who are in business / professional and served a minimum of one year tenure as member of COWE.  

This year the following have retired: Padmavati, Aartee Patel, Indira Jena, Vinodini Agarwal, Savita Reddy, Mahalaxmi

COWE received 12 nominations out of which only six were valid and rest were not eligible as they did not meet with the one year minimum membership criteria.

And the six unanimously elected members are:

SBH schemes were introduced to our members by SBH Officials.

Schemes of ABN AMRO were also introduced to our members by their officials. A lucky draw followed in which Mr.Satyanarayana from Dharmavaram received a Van Gogh Painting replica, on behalf of his mother from ABN AMRO BANK as the winner of the lucky draw held by them.

Vote of thanks was given by Madhuri Talluri, and the AGM Programme was compered by Vibha along with the slide show presentation.
